I'm told that this pressing received some negative reviews, but I'm not sure why. The only thing they could have done better was the label, but other than that.A+ grading all the way around.
On this date in 1982, Culture Club released their debut album, Kissing To Be Clever. It contained remade versons of previous singles, ' White Boy' and ' I'm Afraid of Me' (#100 U.K.) plus ' Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?' (#1 U.K., #2 U.S.) and ' I'll Tumble 4 Ya' (#9 U.S.).
The album, itself, reached the #2 spot on the U.K. Albums chart and the #14 spot on the U.S. Albums chart. The London, England new wave band lasted until 1986.
